So I will never stop talking about the benefits of publishing content to accomplish your business goals. There are so many—but here’s one you might not have thought about...

The algorithm.

The content you put out there doesn’t attract just anyone. 

Because your content doesn’t just go out to just anyone. 

It goes out to individuals and organizations that are either within your area of expertise or are talking about the things you’re talking about. And especially if you’re publishing regularly. 

That means that, if done right, by publishing content and using a platform like LinkedIn to promote it, you’re expanding your network with people who are pre-qualified to value your insights.

Real-life networking at social events can be a bit of a crapshoot, because a lot of it involves talking to strangers who might never become part of your network, for whatever reason. Publishing online means you can leverage those fancy algorithms and SEO to get out to the likeliest leads. 

Publishing on social is a lot like a real-life networking and events strategy. The more you do it, the better opportunities will come to you.
